| Pre- designed Tug – Overview. |
| Our new hand-crafted tug features a level of design and finish to match that of our bespoke builds, but at an affordable price: plus the after-sales support is the same as that offered to our bespoke owners. The boat comes complete with CE mark to RCD 2003/44/EC standard, full owner’s manual with diagrams and instructions, plus a twelve-month warranty. We have particular expertise in electronics and engineering. This specification matches the price for your boat in the accompanying price guide and will give you a beautiful, high performance boat. |
| Bedroom / Saloon |
| This area is accessed via a 2’ 6” sliding hatchway and attractive, removable hardwood steps. The space under the front deck is fully utilized and houses a large 6’3” x 5’ pull-out bed. The saloon area features a wardrobe, a Kabola Old Dutch diesel stove (central heating is an alternative option) and L-shaped dinette seating, with a removable table, which converts to provide an extra bed. |
| Galley |
| The boat features a U-shaped galley with solid hardwood units and hardwood or Duropal work surfaces. A cooker, an Argent hob and a Shoreline fridge are fitted as standard. Overhead cupboards provide additional storage space. |
| Bathroom |
| The bathroom, which occupies the width of the boat, houses a full-sized quadrant shower with a mixer unit for that luxury bathroom feel. There is a corner basin / vanity unit, a narrow cupboard at the side of the shower unit so that all space is utilized, and a Thetford C200 cassette toilet with electric flush. |
| Engine Room |
| The engine room houses the hot water tank and also a handy storage cupboard. The engine is boxed over but all panels will be easily removable without tools and with full soundproofing installed. The back sliding hatchway is 2’6” wide. Engine Specification. Engines used will be Vetus with 30 mm Ø stern gland with internal twin lip seal, stainless steel shaft, bronze propeller sized for the boat and Centaflex coupling to the gearbox. A stainless steel flexible exhaust and large silencer are fitted Installation will be BW/NRA specification as regards diesel lines, exhaust lagging and wiring etc. A starter battery and three domestic batteries are fitted with master switch for isolation and all housed in a box with a breather overboard. A single lever control, instrument panel and appropriate cables to engine are supplied and cooling is from a skin tank with added anti-freeze and an expansion bottle which is fitted to the engine. |
| Steelwork |
| All steelwork is certified to BS 4360/43A EN 10025/430A revised to BSEN 10025:1993:5275 and the certificate is issued with the boat. 10mm bottom plate welded both sides with 75mm x 50mm cross beams every 600mm 6mm side plating with 75mm x 50mm knees at 1200mm intervals and two full length stringers. 4mm cabin sides with 25mm x 25mm square tubing strengthening where needed. Two full length rubbing strakes and two intermediate strakes at bow, another at the stern in 50mm x 12mm D-section mild steel. Bollards, T-stud and anchor points plus three recessed fender attachments on each side of the boat. The diesel tank is at the stern with take off and return from the tank top. Tank will be pressure tested and labeled. Engine beds in 10mm plating. The bow to have extended rubbing guards on each side. Weed hatch with quick release lid and anti-cavitation plate. | Finishing |
| Finishing will be by hand, with attention to detail removing all blemishes and weld splatter. Four 2.5kg anodes fitted to hull. Ballast is blue engineering bricks in the bilges. Insulation is foil backed high density polyurethane sheets above and below the gunnels. Hull epoxied and top sides painted with Epifanes, International or Rapid Paint paint systems in the colour of your choice. These brands hold their gloss finish and, as proven on our past boats, last better than other products. |

| Windows and / or Portholes |
| Fully clamped in with no external fittings in brass effect or chrome. Stainless steel self tapping screws and plated self tapping screws are used where needed to attach groundwork to steel. Also available are colour-coded windows. |
| Fitting Out Material Specification |
| Floor bearers in 3” x 2” pine and internal grounds in 2” x 1 pine. All treated. Bulkheads in 18mm veneered blockboard. Internal lower linings in 18mm veneered plywood. Upper linings in 9mm veneered plywood. Deckheads in 6mm veneered plywood. External door linings in 18mm marine grade plywood. Veneered plywood and hardwoods are customer choice from oak or ash. All wood fixings are with brass screws and capped over. Door furniture and other hinges, catches, knobs, handles, bolts etc are in solid brass with a chrome plated option. Curtain rails are in anodized brass. |
| 12V Electrical System |
| This is based on three domestic deep cycle batteries charged from the main engine alternator. Feed to all circuits is via switched breakers of correct sizes. Cables are heavy to avoid voltage drop at lights or appliances. Horn, headlamp and foredeck light are fitted as standard. Bilge pumps, one 1400 g.p.h. under stern gear. Radio aerial and TV Coax from outside to internal socket. Halogen or LED lights with wall lights and reading lights as standard. All switches are gold plated or chrome to stop green corrosion |
| 240V AC Wiring |
| Heavy duty input socket feeding via control panel with RCD and MCB’s. Voltmeter and phase indicator as required by BMEA Code of Practice for boat installations. Three twin 13 amp sockets at chosen points in the boat and other outlets on request. |
| Water System |
| The tug features an integral steel holding tank with stop valve housed under the foredeck. Shurflo pump with separate pressure switch and accumulator tank. Water is fed to domestic-type appliances via Hep20 pipe and fittings. Stainless steel sink and mixer tap. Basin with two taps. Shower with discharge pump. Shower cubicle fitted as standard. The hot water is from a 14 gallon calorifier with overpressure valve and twin coils heated from the engine and central heating system, where fitted. |
| Gas System |
| Two 13 kg propane bottles are housed in a bow locker. These feed the hob and the oven. All appliances are fitted with control taps and are installed by a Corgi registered operative to the British standard or equivalent. |
| Navigation Equipment |
