We are members of British Marine Federation (BMF) and of Canal Boatbuilders Association (CBA). This keeps us up to date with legislation and other issues and also in touch with British Waterways. We use the BMF Contract of Construction for your protection and our own. The contract is approved by the RYA and the Office of Fair Trading. The contract, amongst other things, protects your investment during building and is only available to BMF members. Payment schemes are very attractive as you only pay for work actually completed on each stage payment thus what ever stage the boat is in build what you see is yours. We have contacts with both a marine insurance specialist and finance houses who can advise on both of these aspects of boat purchase. Written details are available on request. All our boats are CE marked and comply with the requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive (2003/44/EC). They not only have a Declaration of Conformity as required by the Directive but we also have an independent surveyor check the boat and issue a Boat Safety Scheme Certificate.
